    Description

    Are you a hands-on Python developer who is also an expert in Linux systems ? Do you want to create infrastructure platforms for a large investment bank? If so, then you might be Fivesky's next Linux Developer - Python.

    Who you are:

    • An expert at Linux, coming in with 5+ years of experience with Linux OS, having worked with C programming at the Kernel level.
    • Advanced in Python - including Python 3, for developing and maintaining components within the infrastructure platforms, ensuring efficient and robust code implementation.
    • Familiar with Network Protocols ( & WebSocket) and how they function in a highly regulated enterprise environment.
    • Knowledgeable on authorization stacks (SSL, TLS, or Kerberos) able to ensure secure communication protocols are implemented

    What you will do:

    • Work on an internal Linux Container platform as a developer/engineer to problem-solve solutions for a large banking firm.
    • Use strong written & verbal communication skills to document your procedures and processes.
    • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate on a microservices platform to ensure scalability, security, and performance.
    • Utilize Git for version control and CI for automated integration/testing, ensuring codebase integrity and platform stability.
    • Create comprehensive documentation on changes made for effective collaboration and future reference within the team

    It would be awesome if you had:

    • Experience with Microservices architecture.
    • Practice Test-Driven Development (TDD)
    • Understanding of Transmission Control Protocol (TCP).
    • Proficiency in C++ programming language.
    • Knowledge of algorithms.
    • Familiarity with Kubernetes.
