    As a Janitor at Interior Community Services, your role is vital in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for community members who use our facilities. Your days will be a mix of routine and varied tasks to meet the needs of our buildings and residences.


    Clean and Sanitize:

    - Travel to various agency buildings to clean and disinfect areas using manual and power cleaning equipment.

    Waste Management:

    - Collect and dispose of refuse, ensuring clean refuse areas and performing spot clean-ups.

    • General upkeep of building exteriors such as sweeping, window washing, and snow shoveling.
    • Clean and prepare rental housing units for move-ins and move-outs.

    Event Support:

    - Set up furniture for functions and meetings.

    Safety and Security:

    - Secure buildings, report maintenance needs, and ensure safety procedures are followed.

    Attention to Detail:

    - Ensure thorough cleanliness and maintenance of all areas.

    Communication:

    - Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and community members.

    • Knowledge of safety practices, handling cleaning chemicals, basic first aid, and equipment.

    Self-Motivation:

    - Work independently, complete tasks with minimal supervision, and seek help when needed.

    Protecting Private Information:

    - Handle private information with confidentiality and discretion.

    - Access to a vehicle is an asset
