Peterbilt Manitoba Ltd. is looking for a passionate, detail-oriented, and experienced _Body Work Technician_ to join the Winnipeg Body Shop Department.Reporting to the Body Shop Manager, the _Body Shop Technician_ will provide timely and quality repair, maintenance, and servicing of heavy-duty truck components.
The Role:
- Repair and replace various heavyduty truck components
- Operate soldering equipment and use plastic filler to repair holes, dents, and seams
- Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills using wrenches, cutting torch and bolt, or weld replacement parts into place
- File, grind, and sand repaired body surfaces using hand and power tools
- Mask and tape truck body surfaces in preparation for painting
- Repair and replace glass components (windows and windshields)
- Repair and replace interior components such as seat frame assembly, carpets, and floorboard insulation
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous Body Work experience is required
- Previous experience working on Heavy-Duty Trucks is considered an asset
- Able to work as part of a team
- Demonstrated knowledge and comprehensive understanding of equipment, materials, and repair techniques
- Exemplary time management skills with the ability to adapt in a fastpaced work environment and produce positive results with diligent respect for deadlines
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift 50lbs consistently and safely

$16.93-$37.62 per hour
