    Role Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Executive Director - Corporate Planning and Governance, the Priority Issues Coordinator (PIC) works collaboratively with the Branch Leadership Team and staff to coordinate and provide timely correspondence on critical and emerging issues. You will triage all incoming Action Requests, determine the nature of their priority, and assign them in a timely manner. You will use your strong writing/editing skills to review all priority branch materials. You will provide confidential support services relating to issues management, ARTS administration and operational matters relative to branch planning and priority coordination. You will track and respond to issues, often under tight timelines; create, coordinate, and manage action requests,briefing notes and communications. You will coordinate and ensure timely delivery of cross divisional materials such as the Ministry Business Plan and Annual Report and Executive agendas.

    You will play a critical role in establishing, implementing, integrating, and monitoring effective business and communication processes. You will work under high pressure situations to provide timely and accurate advice on current and emerging issues and ensure information is disseminated to the affected program areas in an efficient and effective manner.
