    Diagnostic Imaging Services
    Days, Evenings, Weekends; 4 and 8 Hour Shifts (Subject to Change)
    Lakeridge Health Bowmanville
    920 per hour

    This position is open to all qualified CUPE staff throughout Lakeridge Health commencing 2 May 2024 and closing at 11:59 pm on 7 May 2024.

    The Diagnostic Imaging Clerk is responsible for office and clerical functions including: answering telephones inquiries and relaying accurate messages; joining x-ray films with previous films; rotation through various clinical areas in the Diagnostic Imaging department and other related duties as assigned.

    Medical Office Administration Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience;

    • Proven knowledge of medical terminology (tested);
    • Proven keyboarding skills of 30-40 wpm (tested);
    • Proven knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel (tested - basic level);
    • Proven Meditech experience in admissions, payroll and order entry modules;
    • Meditech, Community Wide Scheduling and PCI, an asset;
    • Knowledge of Diagnostic Imaging Module, an asset;
    • Previous clerical experience working in a Diagnostic Imaging Department,preferred;
    • Must have satisfactory performance record;

    • The terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with the Collective Agreement between the Hospital and C.E Local 6364.
