    Position Overview:

    The Assistant Vice President (AVP), Credit & Investment Risk Management (CIRM) will collaborate with the Vice President, CIRM to enhance the quality of BDC's portfolios, make decision loans, and ensure adherence to due diligence principles within established policies.

    The AVP will also build strong relationships with different teams and provide guidance and support in various aspects.


    Challenges You'll Face:
    • Make decisions within established limits and guidelines aligned with BDC's risk appetite
    • Maintain the quality of customer service and portfolio integrity
    • Contribute to business plans and growth strategies
    • Identify enhancements in loan & investment policies and processes
    • Participate in projects for continuous improvement

    Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience at BDC or a financial institution/investment fund
    • Experience in credit risk or management is an asset
    • Knowledge in cash flow, lending, and equity is an asset
    • Strong analytical and communication skills
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration
    • Bilingualism (English & French) is required
