Description

The Facilities Maintenance Worker is responsible for ensuring that the indoor and outdoor building spaces are kept to a high standard for guest satisfaction.


Specific responsibilities we would like to highlight for the role:

  • Responsible for all aspects of clubhouse maintenance including basic fixes, drywall repairs, basic installations, repairs, painting, general plumbing and more.
  • Create a welcoming environment for guests by ensuring the building is well maintained, preventative maintenance and inspections are completed.
  • Ensure walkways and areas directly surrounding the building are cleared of snow and salted to ensure guest safety.
  • Assist with event set up including moving tables, chairs, and setting up stages.
  • Support with general cleaning tasks including cleaning of general spaces, cleaning carpets and/or vacuuming.

JOB REQUIREMENTS


Must be able to work independently or with team members, under pressure, be dependable and able to work flexible hours.

Must possess strong communication skills and be respectful of other employees and guests at all times.

  • Experience with building maintenance and repairs is considered an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and team orientation.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
  • Ability to work outside for periods of time when shoveling in close proximity to the building.
  • Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50lbs.
  • Weekends, shift work, holidays and overtime as required.
