Cashier/customer Service - Blue Mountains, Canada - Alpine Ski Club
Description
As the
Cashier you will work as a front-line ambassador welcoming our members and their guests with a high standard of service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently at ticket booth, administration and other points of sale within the ski club.
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods securely, following established procedures and protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of station, ensuring a neat and welcoming environment
- Collaborate with other team members to coordinate smooth and efficient service delivery
- Adhere to cash handling procedures, reconcile cash registers, and prepare daily financial reports for management review
Skills and Attributes
Must be able to work independently, under pressure, be dependable and able to work flexible hours.
- Proven experience in handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods accurately and securely, with knowledge of basic math skills for processing transactions
- Possess strong attention to detail and accuracy in verifying transactions to ensure compliance with club policies
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members in a courteous and professional manner
- High level of integrity and honesty in handling cash and sensitive information, with adherence to established cash handling procedures and protocols.
- Flexibility to work weekends, and holidays, as required by the operational needs of the ski club.
