Description
*This job opportunity is for a 2-year seasonal contract: the incumbent will work 9 months per year, typically from September to the end of May, with possibility of extension.

The results of this competition may be used to staff similar term or indeterminate positions within the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) and Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC).


  • The additional length of French cover letters recognizes anticipated differences in length to express similar content based on official language choice.

Job Summary:


Statement of Qualifications:


Education:

High School diploma or equivalent approved by the Public Service Commission (PSC).

Foreign Credential Validation against Canadian Standards


Experience:

Experience in providing office support

Assets
Experience in working with a database
Experience in working with the SSHRC Corporate Database (AMIS)


Knowledge:

Knowledge of the SSHRC organization, functions, programs and activities

Knowledge of databases and information management systems
