Description

Quest is currently looking to train 2 Backup Crane Operators. One(1) Operator to be trained on Day shift, One(1) operator to be trained on Afternoon Shift.

This role will involve the following responsibilities:

Per Shift Crane Check
Glass Block Movement from Active Inventory to Macotec Cage
Glass Movement within Macotec Cage
Documentation of Glass Movement
Validating and communicating with Macotec Operator Glass Blocks to be cut and Loading Rack Position.
Receiving and Offloading Deliveries
Validating and Communicating issues with Lead Hand and Manager
Record Keeping, including Labeling of all Glass Blocks
House Keeping, and Glass Block Organization
Adhere to all Quest Health and Safety requirements and Procedures
And all other Duties as required by Management.

Qualifications:

Previous Crane Overhead Crane Experience preferred
Able to Read, write and communicate in English Fluently
Able to work both Day and Afternoon shift with the possibility to work OT when needed.
Able to Lift weights up to 50lbs
Read Imperial Measurement (Inches and Fractional Inches)
Strong Attention to detail and pride in work quality and output along with an ongoing desire for quality improvement
Ability to work in a team or individually, as needed
Ability to multitask under time pressure
Work in a fastpaced environment to achieve company goals
Ability to communicate clearly with coworkers and Management
