Relevant de la gestionnaire des finances, le ou la Contrôleur financier agira en tant qu'expert-comptable et sera responsable de gérer et d'offrir du soutien à l'équipe dans les activités quotidiennes du cycle comptable.

**Principales responsabilités**
- Gérer une équipe de 5 techniciens comptable. Prioriser et répartir le travail des techniciens et offrir un soutien à l'équipe.
- Coordonner les clôtures de fin de mois pour toutes les sociétés (5) et produire les états financiers consolidés.
- Réconcilier les comptes et analyser les écarts (P&L).
- Offrir un soutien aux opérations en répondant aux questions et aux demandes d'information.
- Participer à des projets ad hoc tels que les audits de fin d'année, la planification du budgets annuels et la migration de système.
- Revoir et améliorer les processus comptables.
- Intégrer les nouvelles acquisitions du groupe.

**Profil recherché**
- Détenir un minimum de 5 ans d'expérience en tant que Contrôleur financier.
- Détenir son titre CPA,
- Bilingue français et anglais, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit afin de desservir nos sociétés à travers le Canada,
- Connaissances de Microsoft Dynamics GP/ Smart connect
- Connaissance des IFRS
- Connaissance de Guidewire, un atout
- Rigoureux
- Habile communicateur
- Habileté à évoluer dans un environnement changeant à forte croissance

**Summary**

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Financial Controller will act as a certified accountant and will be responsible for managing and supporting the team in the day-to-day activities of the accounting cycle.

**Main responsibilities**
- Manage a team of 5 Accounting Technicians. Prioritize and assign the work of the technicians and provide support to the team.
- Coordinate month-end closings for all companies (5) and produce consolidated financial statements.
- Reconcile accounts and analyze variances (P&L).
- Provide support to operations by answering questions and requests for information.
- Participate in ad hoc projects such as year-end audits, annual budget planning and system migration.
- Review and improve accounting processes.
- Integrate new group acquisitions.

**Profile**
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a Financial Controller.
- Hold a CPA designation
- Bilingual, French and English, both written and spoken, in order to support our companies across Canada
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP/ Smart connect
- Knowledge of IFRS
- Knowledge of Guidewire, an asset
