We are hiring a Manager of Financial Reporting at our Pickering location.

Responsible for management and coordination of the company's financial reporting activities, including standardized monthly performance reporting package.


Responsibilities:


  • Prepare templates, design associated business processes and policies, and ensure appropriate documentation for monthly internal financial statements, KPIs and external compliance reports for lenders
  • Ensure that the company's accounting and financial reporting is in full compliance with all GAAP requirements, changes, updates, and announcements.
  • Design, build and maintain the Company's financial reporting and multicompany / multicurrency financial consolidation system
  • Ensure consistency and alignment in financial reporting and performance management reporting with Business Analysis / Customer Solutions team(s)
  • Interact with the independent auditors quarterly and/or annually on GAAP compliance issues
  • Ensure company is in compliance with all FASB and SEC changes, announcements, and updates
  • Work with the CFO, VP, Finance and Controller to create and implement proper procedures and systems
  • Assist the CFO, VP, Finance and Controller with special projects
  • Assist with related special projects as needed
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in accounting/finance or related field
  • CPA required
  • Four to six years related experience or equivalent
  • U.S. GAAP accounting and reporting experience mandatory
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problemsolving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
  • Proficient on Microsoft office suite a must. Proficiency in CERM or SAGE a plus
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
