    The Role:
    The Customer Service & Counter Sales Representative is responsible for handling inquiries to Near North Supply Inc.

    submitted in person at the sales counter, via telephone, via email, via fax or by any other electronic or direct means in an expedient manner.

    Superior customer service is of utmost importance.


    The Responsibilities:


    Responsible for entering orders, handling returns and warranty items, and conducting stock checks; processes payment for sold itemsResponsible for follow-ups and timely completion of quotations, open-orders and backordersRelays order status to customers or the status of credits and warranty claimsResponds to customer inquiries on installation, troubleshooting, appropriate adjacent equipment, etc.

    ; works with product manufacturers to provide customers with an answer or solutionMaintains the CRM database, customer order records, and associated documentationGreets visitors in a polite, welcoming manner and directs them as neededResponsible for supporting the customer service members and assisting the shipping and receiving departmentThe Skills and Qualifications: 2– 3 years of demonstrated customer service experience in a similar roleProactive, resourceful, and enthusiastic team focused attitudeTactful communication skills, both verbal and writtenAble to effectively manage time, priorities, and customer workload in a fast paced environmentPrevious experience in Plumbing or Construction and CRM considered an assetNear North Supply is a Wholesale distributor of Plumbing, Groundwater, Wastewater, and Water Conditioning Products.
