Private Client Group Summer Intern

Job Summary

The summer intern will be exposed to various products and roles available within Wealth Management and will have the opportunity to gain insight into the branch specifically as well as to add value through their unique perspective and strong academic background.

The role's primary responsibility will be to support the branch management team.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of
Fundamental investment concepts, practices, and procedures used in the securities industry.

Skill in

Ability to

Work within deadlines while maintaining a high level of service and attention to detail;
Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment;
Demonstrate a professional manner to establish and maintain effective working relationships;
Have flexibility and willingness to assist others as required; and
Communicate proficiently in French is an asset.

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements

A minimum of 1 completed year of study in a Bachelor's degree program in Business or Finance;
Completion of the Canadian Securities Course is a definite asset; and
Experience with Microsoft CRM is an asset.
