Experience - 5 to 7 years
Mandatory Skills:
- Engineering degree with
5 to 7 years' experience:
Railway background is mandatory

Civil Engineering background is mandatory
- Perform resource loading of the project schedule using scheduling tool such as
Primvera P6 AND MS Project etc
- Be knowledgeable in Project Controls including
Critical Path Method Scheduling (CPM),
Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Assist program team in development of
Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
- Create a schedule management plan to develop the schedule and document schedule assumptions and constraints.
- Lead the program team in the development of the program Integrated Master Schedule that meets customer and management requirements.
- Lead the development and implementation of the program baseline to meet the Earned Value Management system requirements.
- Incorporate changes into the schedule baseline as required following proper change management process.
- Provide the program with primary and secondary critical path analysis, variance to baseline analysis, and lookahead reporting.
- To demonstrate ability to analyze and interpret data, producing accurate, timely and informative reports in multiple formats targeted to the needs of the audience.
- Forensic analysis of projects schedules, produce recommendations for improvement and analyze schedule delays.
- Develop and issue all customer and management schedule reporting. Present schedule data as required.
Responsibilities:
- Strong understanding of planning/scheduling fundamentals and standards.
- Strong understanding of earned value principles.
- Thorough working knowledge of Primavera, MS Project, MS Word, Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team setting.
Job Type:
Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Salary:
$27.50-$30.21 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
