Opportunity


PCRS requires an experienced individual to lead the data collection and administrative support for programming at the Broadway Youth Resource Center (BYRC).

BYRC supports individuals ages 13 to 24 through a vast number of drop-in services and organized programming or case management.

The successful applicant would be stationed at BYRC three days a week, in Mount Pleasant in Vancouver.

This position requires an understanding of data collection, and documentation, as well as an individual that is organized, meticulous, independent and has excellent time-management and planning skills.


Responsibilities

  • Gather and input data for program deliverables for the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD), housing, and subsidy programs.
  • Waitlist management for the Vancouver Housing programs.
  • Creates, maintains, and updates waitlist records (using Salesforce), to ensure information is accurate and up to date, and synthesizing data into aggregated reports.
  • Supporting program scheduling and organization, specifically supporting the Youth Engagement and Transitional Housing Program.
  • Work collaboratively with BYRC programming leads to determine data and documentation needs.
  • Assisting BYRC leadership with documentation organization, electronic filing, and data management.

Qualifications

  • B.A. in a related field plus oneyear related experience, Business Administration certificate or Diploma plus two years' experience, or a combination of related work experience and education.
  • Experience using data collection tools, electronic filing, data management services, and case management systems.
  • Criminal record check including the vulnerable sector.
  • Standard firstaid certificate and CPR
  • Excellent Computer skills (MS Word/Excel/Outlook)
  • NVCI certificate

Additional Assets

  • Fluency in a second language

Dimensions of Work
Work schedule would be three full 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Schedule to be determined between Monday to Friday, with possibility of evenings and weekends if necessary. This position is stationed at the Broadway Youth Resource Center (BYRC) in Vancouver.
