- **This role is 100% remote with 75% travel requirements and home most weekends._
- **Qualified applicants residing in the Montreal Area will be considered first._


How you will make a difference

  • Provide outstanding customer and equipment support, from the depot and onsite.
  • Diagnose issues or technical problems that can include electrical, mechanical, and software related service issues.
  • Seek to understand customer questions or concerns and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Support Avidbots product demonstrations, deployments, and customer training across North America (high travel requirement).
  • Support robot operations remotely in our webbased monitoring software.
  • Present training materials to customers and teach them to use all aspects of the robot.
  • Document customer feedback, findings in the field, and work order details.

Minimum qualifications

  • Diploma, degree, or 2+ years of experience in robotics or in an associated field such as electronics or mechanics
  • 2+ years of working experience troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and servicing technical equipment
  • Fluent in both English and French (speaking, reading, & writing)
  • Holds a valid driver's license
  • Travel within North America on a regular basis (75%+)
  • Ability to lift 3570 lbs on a regular basis
  • Successfully complete preemployment onboarding requirements that may include: criminal/civil background checks and motor vehicle records search

Preferred qualifications and key skills

  • Successful experience in a customerfacing role: assisting, training, relationship building, etc
  • Exceptional manual dexterity and high attention to detail
  • Comfortable and experienced with faultfinding by reading schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing work schedules
  • Driven individual, passionate about robotics, and works well as part of a small support team
  • Experience working with electronics or electromechanical devices
  • Experience servicing floor cleaning equipment
  • Experience working with computers and software tools (Linux experience ideal)
  • Experience towing small to medium trailers
  • Hold a valid passport
