The Opportunity:

Provides administrative support directly to the Counsellors and LS/ATs by handling the intake process, student outreach, documentation input and maintenance, and acute student needs in the absence of a counsellor.

Provide reception, guidance and referral services for students enquiring about services within the Student Support Centre.

Develops, maintains, and delivers sexual assault/sexual violence awareness and training for students and works with Human Resources to support training for employees.


What you need to be successful:

  • diploma in Social Service Worker, Social Service Worker
  • Indigenous Specialization, Child and Youth Care
- must be eligible to register as a Social Services Worker with the College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
- minimum 2 years office experience in an educational environment
- experience providing mental health education and support to youth or adults within a community service agency
- excellent communications and organizational skills

This is a regular part-time support staff position, up to 24 hours/week, $26.60/hour.
