We are searching for a_Line Cook _to join our team.
ROLE SUMMARY:
At
SmoQue N' Bones, the
_Line Cook_ is responsible for preparing food and setting up the necessary supplies. They make sure everything has been set up correctly before starting work. They use kitchen material tools to prepare essential ingredients and create delicious food.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain the integrity of the
SmoQue N' Bones cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by adequately handling food and ensuring safe storage - Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
- Performs inventory checks and completed food storage logs
- Sets up and stocks food items and other supplies
- Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma, or GED
- One to two years id experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook
- A certificate in Culinary Arts preferred
- Familiar with industry best practices
- Effectively communicates
