Salary:
$80,000 - $100,000, dependent on experience


Hours:7:00am - 5:00pm, core hours

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for Managers, Supervisors, Foremen and Operators who require maintenance/repairs on various equipment and vehicles
  • Schedule all fleet repairs and maintenance working collaboratively with our shop technicians
  • Maintain detailed records by recording service and repairs
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with suppliers
  • Source and order parts for shop team
  • Review and approve invoices to ensure proper pricing
  • Monitor shop workload and workflow, monitoring profitability and efficiency
  • Assist with purchasing new vehicles and/or heavy equipment
  • Oversee the process of selling or disposing of old vehicles and equipment
  • Assist with any insurance claims relating to the fleet
  • Ensure the shop and yard is clean and organized
  • Compliance with company health and safety training and reporting requirements
  • Other duties will be assigned as required

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of prior experience in a service manager role
  • Must have previous parts and inventory experience
  • Must have prior working experience in a role that required a highly organized and proficient communicator
  • Possess strong knowledge of both automotive and heavy equipment parts and service requirements
  • Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
