    Job Details:
    • Job Title: Junior Accountant
    • Location: North York, ON
    • Job Type: Part-Time (with the potential to grow into a full-time role)
    About Us:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to assist in the management of our company's financial operations.
    • This part-time position offers the opportunity to grow into a full-time role as you gain experience and excel in your responsibilities.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, reconcile accounts, and ensure timely payments and collections.
    • General Ledger Maintenance: Assist in maintaining accurate financial records.
    • Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
    • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports and statements as needed, providing insights into our financial performance.
    • Assist with Audits: Collaborate with the accounting team during audits, ensuring compliance and accurate record-keeping.
    • Expense Management: Monitor and control expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.
    • Support Month-End Closing: Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
    • Ad Hoc Projects: Collaborate on special financial projects and assignments as needed.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or in progress).
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
