Junior Accounting Assistant - Toronto, Canada - The CReATe Fertility Centre
Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accounts receivable files and records, collect, and monitor outstanding balances to ensure each account is paid on time and in full.
- Generate invoices and account statements. Perform account reconciliations for AR.
- Manage accounts payable, prepare and send the invoices to vendors.
- Verify and reconcile bank transactions, post journal entries and complete deposits.
- Enter and maintain financial data in Excel and other accounting software.
- Assist with payroll preparation by printing and copying staff's time sheets.
- Record staff's vacation and sick times after process the payroll
- Perform other office administration tasks as assigned by the Finance and Payroll Manager
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2year experience in accounting or office administration
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other office software
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
