RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the daily lives of our elders by performing all aspects of Housekeeping, Laundry, and Dietary Services.
These three jobs are interchangeable and you will be required to perform all three positions.

Ability to utilize equipment necessary to provide support, such as: laundry machines, Susie-Q carts, specialized cleaning equipment, etc.
Act as an advocate to protect and promote elder's rights.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Current Food Safe Level
Must be physically and mentally fit for the work environment
Speak, read, and write the English language in an understandable manner
Pass a Criminal Record Check upon hiring and every 5 years thereafter
Must be fully vaccinated against Covid1
Must either receive annual flu vaccine, or wear appropriate PPE as prescribed by the PHO for the recommended flu season
Previous experience is an asset but not required
Basic knowledge of Care of Persons with Dementia is an asset but not required
