We are looking for donut production bakers to mix and prepare donuts and other pastries and enjoy being a part of a fun welcoming atmosphere within the Holy Cow production crew.

Looking for someone to work in the afternoon or late shifts, on weekends and holidays. Part or full-time hours are available. Capable of working alone during late shifts without supervision.

The Donut Production Baker is responsible for mixing and preparing the dough, frying, and finishing donuts and other pastries.

The position requires an individual who can multitask, work well in a team and on their own and have baking/cooking skills.

The donut production baker will be tasked with ensuring the general cleanliness of the Holy Cow donut/pastries shop.

Must be able to work afternoons, or latest shifts, weekends and holidays, and start immediately
*Available shifts: 10 PM TO 4 AM

What you will do as a Donut Production Baker

  • Mix, bake, shape, proof, fry and decorate donuts and other pastries based on the nightly production orders.
  • Organize product for bakeoff for the following day.
  • Organize baked products for delivery to Teatro Group locations.
  • Clean and maintain organization and cleanness in the production shop.
  • Communicate effectively with Lead Production and Vendome Chef de Cuisine.
  • Greet customers and discuss the type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services required
  • Able to work and be efficient without supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization to produce consistent products on a nightly basis.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Availability to work afternoon or late shifts, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be capable of lifting at least 50 lbs, and able to push lbs.
  • This role requires the physical ability to stand for long periods of time, walk frequently, bend, squat or reach.
  • Used precautions pertaining to food allergies.
  • Understand and follow all pertinent Food Safety guidelines, procedures and requirements.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, demeanour, and attitude at all times
  • Perform production shop closing duties.
  • Take and prepare donuts orders and patronize them with information about the donuts flavours of the month and specials that may be running.
  • Operate computerized inventory recordkeeping and reordering systems.
  • At least 1 year of donut production, bakery or cooking experience is preferred.
  • This role is open to applicants who do not have a high school diploma/GED.
