Summary
The dishwasher cleans items necessary for food preparation and service.

The dishwasher is responsible for the cleaning, maintenance, and sanitation of china, glass, silver, kitchen equipment and kitchen production areas in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe work environment.


Job Duties

  • Cleans and sanitizes china, glass, and silver using the dishwashing machine
  • Loads and unloads dishware and flatware from the dishwashing machine and stores properly
  • Cleans and sanitizes all ovens, steam kettles, mixers and other kitchen equipment as well as all kitchen drains, sinks, floors, and walls
  • Cleans, dusts, sweeps, mops, polishes, scrubs, washes, strips, and buffs kitchen areas
  • Cleans and sanitizes all pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using the correct cleaning and rinsing solutions
  • Return cleaned and sanitized food wares and equipment to appropriate storage areas
  • Provides assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak times

Requirements:


  • Preferred: Previous Food & Beverage experience, preferably in the back of the house operations
  • Great attitude and flexible schedule to work nights, weekends and holidays as required
Valid Canadian Legal Work Status Required


Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Part-time hours: 30-40 per week


Salary:
$16.00-$19.00 per hour
