    Opportunity

    The Department of International Business, Marketing, Strategy, and Law in the School of Business invites applications for appointments in Legal Studies in Business at the rank of Assistant Professor, commencing July 1, 2024, subject to final budgetary approval.

    You should hold a or JD and an advanced degree (, or PhD) in the relevant area of teaching expertise and will demonstrate a primary commitment to undergraduate teaching and an ongoing research program.

    Strong preference will be given to candidates that can demonstrate knowledge of Canadian and Alberta law and that have experience in the practice of law in Canada. Preference will also be given to candidates with expertise in corporate law and procedures, securities law, privacy law, or environmental law. Candidates with other areas of legal expertise are still invited to apply.
