RWAM is looking for a highly motivated individual with strong leadership, organizational and analytical skills to join our Group Insurance Team to partner in success The Group Underwriting Manager will be responsible for day-to-day management of all Group Underwriting functions and staff.

They will also oversee the ongoing development, training and motivation of their staff, and act as a resource for the RWAM Management Team.

In this role you will:

Manage customer service standards, profitability objectives, relationships with other departments and the implementation and documentation of updated underwriting practices and guidelines
Provide the necessary leadership to actively establish the strategic planning process, set and attain department objectives and support the key initiatives / corporate direction of RWAM
Actively participate when required, in providing underwriting case management decisions, trouble shooting, pricing and analysis
Act as liaison with insurance partners and develop / maintain industry contacts
Coordinate staff scheduling and workflow

For this role you need:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate
Minimum years of qualified group underwriting experience
Demonstrated ability to effectively identify and implement changes
Strong background with Microsoft Office and other software packages
