Operations Admin Support - Port Moody, Canada - WestCorp Solutions
Description
WestCorp Solutions is seeking an Operations Admin Support for our client in Port Moody, B.C. This position will be strictly administrative with no field work.Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the tank farm inventories and product movements.
- Coordinates batches with clients regarding specifications, volumes, and timing.
- Issues clear, precise receipt batch orders to Operating Technicians.
- Ensures all finished products are received (imports), blended on time and on spec by:
- Issuing clear and concise Blending orders to Operating Technicians.
- Issuing clear and concise Pumping/Shipping orders to Operating Techs, Gauger Receiver and Laboratory Technicians.
- Managing Tank Farm (Upper and Middle Plants) inventories.
- Coordinating with the Gauger/Receiver and the Scheduler.
- Coordinating marine and Lougheed transfers
- Working closely with Senior Advisor, Fuels for Western Canada and Product Supply personnel.
- Maintaining chemical inventories.
- Certification of all finished products on a timely basis.
- Respond to calls after hours as required to address quality, process, scheduling or lab issues.
- Certify final blends as required on off hours.
- Ordering Chemicals, services and supplies through Fieldglass and Ariba.
- Support ISO 9001:2015 Process with documentation control support.
Skill/Knowledge:
- Strong computer skills including MS Office, SAP, Honeywell, and LIMS.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Inventory Control.
- Accounting Analyst.
Essential Experience and Job Requirements:
- Three (3) years Oil and Gas refinery or Terminal experience.
- Scheduling and blending experience.
- If selected for onboarding, you may be required to undergo a background check and substance test in accordance with job site policies._
Job Type:
Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday

- Port Moody, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
