    Description
    Education: Completion of a College, CEGEP, or similar non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years minimum
    Experience: Between 1 to less than 2 years, or relevant equivalent experience

    Tasks:

    • Inspect products to determine repair needs
    • Inspect and test electronic equipment and assemblies
    • Repair or replace defective parts using various tools
    • Diagnose and locate faults in circuits, components, and equipment
    • Test and adjust repaired products for optimal performance
    • Adjust, align, replace, or repair electronic equipment and assemblies
    • Calibrate products with precision using hand tools
    • Supervise other technicians in electronic equipment services

    Type of service and repair:

    • Specialization in computers and peripherals

    Equipment and machinery experience:

    • Proficiency with hand tools

    Area of specialization:

    • Focusing on business and commercial machines

    Work conditions and physical capabilities:
