Job Summary
The Production Foreman will be responsible for working with a dedicated portion of the assembly line. Working with production team members to ensure the production line is operating effectively and efficiently.

This position is located in London, ON. Shift is Monday - Thursday 10 hours (day shift). Extra scheduled shift on Fridays as per business needs.


Duties and Responsibilities
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

  • Supervise, coach, mentor and guide production line staff on company policies and operations plans/goals.
  • Ensure team members adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in creating work instructions and train new and existing team members in process flow and job duties.
  • Promote teamwork and support a respectful and inclusive work environment.
  • Coordinate with department managers, assisting in daily key indicator measurements and continuous improvement activities.
  • Oversee workflow and processes for assigned stations within assembly line are meeting department expectations.
  • Working alongside other Production Foreman and management to monitor and implement key performance indicators to ensure profitability and sustainable growth
  • Resolving process and performance issues in a timely manner and utilizing the Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) method. Implement immediate counter measures and long term systemic issues.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to ensure assembly line is running efficiently. Recording deviations from process and material steps that may need revisions.
  • Understand specific assembly line job sequences and timing expectations for each station.
  • Ensure quality standards and check lists are completed in each station and signed off with GO-Canvas.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 previous years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Leadership, coaching and mentoring experience.
  • Able to build positive and collaborative relationships.
  • Experience with Microsoft office programs, Word, Excel etc.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in lean manufacturing/continuous improvement processes.
  • Show a proven ability to lead crossfunctional teams.
  • Automotive technical production experience.
