New and Used Truck Quality Assurance Tester - Winnipeg, Canada - Peterbilt Manitoba Ltd

Job Duties
- Perform road tests on New and Used trucks to check for mechanical issues.
- Report mechanical issues to Sales Yard Coordinator.
- Deliver trucks to our customers in a courteous and timely manner.
- Pick up trucks and bring back to dealership.
- Move trucks:
- In and out of shop._
- To front line up or compound._
- To service line._
- To wash bay or detail Bay._
- Operate Loader:
- To move trucks around the yard that cannot be driven._
- For snow clearing as needed._
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Valid Class 1 driver's license.
- Some automotive/truck and trailer technical knowledge:
- Able to connect and disconnect batteries._
- Able to identify and interpret warning lights and gauges._
- Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs.; must have own steeltoe boots.
- Work effectively in all weather conditions.
- Must be customer service oriented.
- Have excellent communication skills; verbal and written.
- Problem solver; organized and excellent time management skills.
Salary:
From $20.00 per hour

Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (required)
