We are hiring an IT Intern for our Pickering location. This is a 3-6 month contract position.


Responsibilities:


  • Assess an inplace workflow and prepare organized and detailed documentation of the data processing (Gantt chart / workflow diagrams)
  • Identify areas where the workflow can be simplified or improved
  • Study how the workflow and data integrate with existing inhouse business management software (Globetek Enterprise)
  • Research / identify available management products to automate / simplify work processes required to manage the workflow and its integration with the inhouse business management software

Requirements and skills

  • Post Secondary education in IT, Computer Science or relevant field
  • Practical understanding of business management solutions (ERP software)
  • Experience with Database (Oracle SQL, Microsoft Access), Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience working with inventory management and vendor consignment is an asset
  • Proficiency in English
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced environment
  • Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment

Job Types:
Fixed term contract, Internship / Co-op

Contract length: 3-6 months
