5-Ton Truck Driver
Join the
Regional Recycling team and help us make a difference

Our Truck Drivers provide quality pick up service for our commercial and residential customers, adhering to all Industry Standards around quality, environment, health and safety policies and regulations.

We are currently hiring drivers who have:

experience operating a 5-ton truck

- safe driving practices including a clear driving record, with proof of driving abstract
- a good sense and direction of the lower mainland and surrounding areas and timely route management.
- the ability to operate a power tailgate and pallet jack (forklift experience is a bonus but not mandatory)
- experience moving skids and various other types of loads
- the ability to personally lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs.)
- good communication skills and quality customer service
- experience with paperwork including logbooks, purchase order books, etc.
- comfortable with Android Smart Phones
- demonstrated initiative and the ability to take and follow directions
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- flexible with hours, and able to work overtime as required

Work will start as part time at 2 days/week (approximately 16 hours) to start, and some weekend driving will be required.
Daily starting base is in Abbotsford but may fluctuate depending on demands.
