    DRM400H1 F Advanced Performance

    L0101 counts as 0.50 credit
    Advanced Performance builds on the training sequence of DRM200Y1 and DRM300Y1 by developing students' acting and performance skills in monologues and extensive collaborative scene work. The work focuses on the particulars of character development and the emotional and technical aspects of the actor's craft. In addition, it is further designed (along with DRM413H1S) to support the work in DRM403Y Mainstage Performance as and if needed.

    Schedule: Tues and Thurs, 12pm - 2pm, tutorial Tues 2pm-3pm

    Sessional Lecturer I $9,457.90 Sessional Lecturer I Long Term $9,930.79

    Sessional Lecturer II $10,121.77 Sessional Lecturer II Long Term $10,326.62

    Sessional Lecturer III $10,362.76 Sessional Lecturer III Long Term $10,570.02

    Please note that should rates stipulated in the collective agreement vary from rates stated in this posting, the rates stated in the collective agreement shall prevail.

    Minimum Qualifications: Evidence of recent teaching effectiveness in acting/performance, including elements of voice and movement at a recognized theatre school or university. Extensive professional acting/theatre experience (minimum 5 years).

    Preferred Qualifications: MFA in Acting/ Performance/Directing. Diploma in voice/ movement training from an accredited institution.

    Description of Duties: Developing a course syllabus, collaborating with the advanced directing and advanced design instructors in relation to the DRM402H Directors' Showcase; planning and delivering lectures, designing assignments, tests and examinations, grading, managing course content and grades on Quercus & CIS, holding office hours, invigilating tests and exams (if applicable).
