    Job Title: FSQA Compliance Auditor

    Company: Maple Leaf Foods


    Overview: The role of FSQA Compliance Auditor at the Courtneypark facility involves ensuring the efficiency of food safety programs through various activities, including task review, verification, monitoring, and auditing. Leading cross-functional teams during audits and developing corrective action plans for non-compliance findings is a key responsibility.


    Snapshot of Responsibilities:

  • Verify HACCP and Food Safety programs for compliance
  • Execute internal audit and claim verification programs
  • Co-lead internal audits
  • Drive immediate corrective actions
  • Maintain document control and ensure compliance
  • Develop training programs for employees
  • Assess effectiveness of corrective actions
  • Assist in investigating complaints and developing responses
  • Maintain and update food safety programs and SOPs
  • Organize document management system
  • Deliver training material to personnel
  • Support reduction in non-conformances through training
  • Prepare for and participate in audits
  • Demonstrate commitment to food safety standards
  • Act as backup for the HACCP Team Leader
  • Perform other assigned duties

    • Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science or Diploma in Food Safety/Science
  • Understanding of Sanitation, HACCP, CCP's, and GMP's
  • Internal audit experience preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in the food industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team
