    Description

    Provides Overnight Production Support for Assigned Team: Performs all functions related to product processing (preparation), merchandising, stocking, display, and counter service as required.

    Company Image: Ensures a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and team members at all times.

    Job Requirements: Must be prepared and able to perform duties inherent in other team member job descriptions, support WFM core values and goals, and promote programs and initiatives.

    • Prepares products for display and sale, which may include cutting fruits and vegetables, measuring raw materials, forming food items, and more.
    • Ensures cleanliness in merchandising areas and food preparation areas.
    • Provides excellent customer service and maximizes sales potential through effective procedures.
    • Maintains a clean working environment and equipment in accordance with WFM standards.
    • Performs opening, mid, and closing duties, reports safety hazards, and follows established procedures.

    Job Skills:

    • Knowledge of product standards, spoilage, and merchandising expectations.
    • Passion for cleanliness, strong communication skills, and ability to work as part of a team.
    • Ability to meet customer service expectations and follow directions effectively.
    • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    Experience: No prior retail experience required.

    Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:

    • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday.
    • Requires bending, twisting, reaching, exposure to cleaning chemicals, and ability to work in various conditions.
    • Must be flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
