Key Responsibilities:


  • Perform accurate analyses on finished products and stability of different dose forms (solid dose, liquids, topicals) in accordance within schedule.
  • Perform analyses using HPLC, UPLC, GC, UV, Dissolution, FTIR, and numerous other analytical methodologies and techniques.
  • Document all laboratory testing maintaining accurate records through an electronic system (LIMs) or traditional laboratory notebooks.
  • Process and integrate chromatographic data using Chromatographic Data System (i.e.
Empower).

  • Perform all work according to cGMP following regulatory and company standards.
  • Assist the Supervisor, Scientists and Senior Chemists in determining the root cause of laboratory deviations providing clear and concise documentation of the event.
  • Maintain the highest data integrity following the practices of ALCOA.
  • Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean and orderly 5S work area.
  • Maintain laboratory systems and participate in projects as required.
  • Working closely with others in the group to achieve business objectives.

Basic Qualifications:


  • University Degree or College Diploma in Chemistry or a related science
  • Good theoretical and practical knowledge of instrumental techniques such as HPLC, UPLC, GC, UV-VIS, Dissolution
  • Experience with Chromatography Data Acquisition and Laboratory Information Systems.
  • Good knowledge of laboratory GMP and demonstrated proficiency in analytical techniques.
  • Works well in a fastpaced environment both individually and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and effectively
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency (Excel and Word)

Prefer

red Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 2 years Quality Control experience in a pharmaceutical laboratory environment.
  • Strong Chromatographic (Empower) and LIMs (LabWare an asset) knowledge.
