Description

We are looking for an experienced former/supervisor in the electrical field to oversee and manage the work of a team of electricians on various electrical projects.

This role requires extensive experience and expertise in the electrical field, as well as strong leadership and organizational skills. You will also be responsible for ensuring that electrical installations and repairs are completed efficiently and safely.


Responsibilities:


  • Supervise a team of electricians on completion of various projects around GTA.
  • Perform electrical installations and repairs.
  • Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specification to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations.
  • Service various types of equipment in residential & commercial settings. Install, replace, and repair lighting fixtures and electrical control and distribution equipment, such as switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels.
  • Determine general condition of all electrical devices and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions.
  • Install and connect power supply wiring, cables, conduit and electrical apparatus for machines or equipment in new and existing buildings.
  • Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures.
  • Interact with customers and other employees within the company.
  • Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems.
  • Adhere to all quality, health and safety codes and regulations.

Requirements:


  • Five years of working experience with electrical licence is preferred.
  • Relevant experience in commercial/industrial environment.
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Valid Electrical License, Working at Heights, WHIMIS and First Aid Certificates.
  • Solid knowledge of Ontario Electrical Code.
  • Ability to work independently and with the team.
  • Strong communication and problemsolving skills.
  • Leadership Skills.

Salary:
$97,760.00 per year
