Canoco Energy services is looking for a Quality Control Manager for multiple projects.

Location:
Fort Saint John, BC / Fort McMurray, AB / Fort Saskatchewan, AB


Start Date:
Mid April


Duration: 3-6 Months


Pay:
EMP $85.00/ Hr + OT, Vac Pay


DSP Positions available

Responsibilities:


  • Ensure all ITP stages are followed and complied with.
  • Boiler, Piping, Boltup and Vessel Inspections
  • Read piping isometrics, GA's and PID's.
  • Knowledge of ASME, ABSA, CSA and Legislative codes and standards.
  • Material receiving inspection and verification.
  • Maintaining and verifying welder qualification record.
  • Monitoring welding and carrying out final weld visual inspection.
  • Verifying all NDE needs to ITP and confirming completion
  • Final piping reinstatement inspection and witnessing applicable bolt torque.
  • Experience with weld mapping, Bolted joint mapping and asbuilt drawings.
  • Flange face inspection.
  • Turnover binder review and completion.

Requirements:


  • CWB Level 2 certification with 5+ years of experience.
  • Current Visual acuity record
  • Field and shutdown experience is required.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to handle a multitude of tasks.
  • Good computer skills, especially in the use of MS Office.
  • Selfmotivated, organized and able to work in a highpressure deadlinedriven environment.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Understands Quality Inspection Procedures, Tools and Equipment

Job Type:
Fixed term contract

Contract length: 3-6 months


Salary:
Up to $85.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Fort McMurray, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience:

- quality assurance: 5 years (preferred)
