Job Details:


  • Location: 400 McNeilly Road, Stoney Creek, ON.
  • Hourly Wage: $2024 depending on experience AND equipment qualified to operate.
  • Schedule: 7:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m. (2 paid breaks, 1/2 hour unpaid lunch).
  • Benefits: Companypaid group medical, dental, and insurance after probation.
The Machine Operator is responsible, but not exclusively limited to a scope of defined operations around any of 3 main Machine Operations namely:

  • CNC Machine
  • Cutting / Saw Machine
  • Rolling Machine
Creating quality parts produced on machines and equipment according to company plans, blueprints, and other diagrams.

Within the scope of the job requirements, will be required to adhere and comply with the OHSA, the Company ISO Quality Program and procedures, Company policies and Safety Regulations.


Responsibilities:


  • Calibrating, re-setting and / or programming individual machine to meet specifications and daily production quotas.
  • Includes loading parts, programming and/or operating controls according to the schematics.
  • Inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements.
  • Report requirements and adjustments needed to the supervisor
  • Report all machine malfunctions to the immediate supervisor.
  • Responsible for keeping the area clean and orderly.
  • This position may be required to operate lifting devices, and tools.
  • Report deviations from specifications and tolerances to supervisor
  • Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
  • May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Working Conditions:


  • This position may be exposed to elements such as intermittent noise, dust, heat, and cold.
  • Use of Personal Protection Equipment (e.g. seat belt, safety glasses, gloves, steeltoed safety shoes/boots, hearing protection, etc.).
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and complete repetitive tasks.
  • Regularly works near moving mechanical equipment.
