About ADM

About the Position
Work consists primarily of general plant and equipment cleaning, sweeping, vacuuming, shoveling, painting, lifting, operation of mobile equipment (forklift). Ability to learn process operator jobs to fill in for absences or vacation on a full or part-time basis.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Housekeeping
  • Provide labour support as needed
  • Perform setup and cleanup tasks at job site
  • Must be physically fit
  • Troubleshoot problem
  • Have the ability to climb stairs, sit and stand for long periods, work in confined spaces, working with heights, bending, and kneeling
  • Following GMP, HACCP, Food Safety and Safety Rules is essential
  • All other duties required

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrates a strong teamcollaborator attitude while being able to work independently with mínimal supervision
  • Must have good attention to detail troubleshooting skills
  • Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • History of working safely and a reputation for promoting and getting involved in safety improvement efforts
  • Related Industry Knowledge
  • The successful applicant must be able to work from heights, stand, sit, kneel, crawl, and bend
  • May be required to lift 55 lbs / 25 kg and needs to be able to work in a variety of hot, cold, or wet conditions
  • Shift work, overtime and weekends may be required
  • There is room for advancement in the future

Education or Work Experience

  • High school education or equivalent is required

Additional Information

  • Work in accordance with local/provincial legislation
  • Understands and is accountable for full compliance with safety and other EHS requirements
  • Relocation support is not available for this position.
