About ADM
About the Position
The Customer Service Clerk will report to the Commercial Manager.
This position interacts with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints.
They will keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents, and follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Receiving orders, processing these orders in the system
- Handling bags inventory
- Invoicing orders shipped
- Handling customer's contracts
- Investigate and process debit accounts
- Find quotes for shipments
- Greeting visitors and directing them to the appropriate supervisors
- Answering incoming calls
- Enter and scan all Notre Dame and Royal Mill invoices into Maximo
- Distributing incoming mail for staff and sending mail and packages to the U.S.
- Matching invoices to sales orders (quantity, product, terms, pickup allowance, sold to and ship to)
- Shipments and receipts on an Excel spreadsheet
- Maintaining all customers' filing
- Updating CHEP pallets account
- Perform other miscellaneous administrative tasks
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Strong telephone contact management and active listening skills
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills in French and English (spoken and written English is required for this position due to transactions and communications with U.S. and Canadian partners)
Education or Work Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in customer support or as a customer service representative.
