What will you be doing at Pacific West Mechanical as a Service Coordinator?


The Service Coordinator is overseen by a Service Manager who will delegate tasks, provide guidance, and ensure the Service Coordinators are meeting and exceeding expectations in their role.

See below for a snapshot of what you will be doing as a Service Coordinator at Pacific West Mechanical.


This role is a key customer service position in the company and would be a great match for someone who enjoys working in a fast paced environment, likes variety in their day, and enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.

  • Scheduling and dispatching technicians ensure that they have the right tools / equipment and parts required for the job along with access arranged and notices to clients provided.
  • Ensure the right technician is assigned to the right job based on skill set and including jobs required for training and development plans established by Project Managers.
  • Client communication for notices and access that is professional, timely, and accurate.
  • Coordinate materials and parts pickup dropoff in the most efficient manner ensuring mínimal stops and efficient routing between jobs.
  • Tool / equipment signin/out and repairs coordinated.
  • Schedule subcontractors as required.
  • Making sure the technicians get their full 8 hours.
  • Provide feedback to your Service Manager to improve internal processes.
  • Expect requests outside of the above primary responsibilities.

Your Qualifications, Experience, and Abilities

  • 1+ year in related dispatch/ service operation position
  • Knowledge of HVAC and/or plumbing industry is a benefit
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaborative team member
  • Excellent organizational skills, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ability to learn new systems as needed.
  • Ability to confidently handle complex situations and customer concerns in a professional manner at all times.
  • Ability to problem solve and think outside the box.
  • Ability to prioritize daily interruptions
