THE OPPORTUNITY
The Property Manager is responsible for leading the OAKWYN's residential portfolio.

The Property Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional service to our residents/tenants, improving overall portfolio operations, reporting financial performance and developing scalable processes that will support future growth.

OAKWYN's portfolio is rapidly growing, and the Property Manager will be a key member team.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and foster longstanding relationships with customers, clients, affiliates and colleagues
  • Advertise and show available rental suites and perform due diligence procedures in tenant selection
  • Ensure accuracy in documents, including leases, notices, inspections, etc.
  • Prospect for new clients and handle leads
  • Collect and review of monthly rents paid
  • Process repair and maintenance invoices
  • Perform movein, moveout and annual inspections
  • Diligently followthrough on the daytoday tasks and inquires
  • Follow through on repair and maintenance requests, approvals and coordinating work
  • Ensuring compliance and adhering to and enforcing contact terms
  • Prepare for and participate in RTB arbitration hearings
  • Primary contact for insurance and restoration/emergency issues.
  • May be called upon from time to time for special projects
  • May be required to work some overtime as needed, primarily during month end

REQUIREMENTS

  • British Columbia Rental Property Management License is mandatory
  • In depth and working knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Solutionsoriented mindset and an exceptional ability to problem solve issues that arise
  • Professionalism in all business dealings
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to think critically and act quickly on your feet
  • A desire to continuously learn and grow in the property management field
  • Administrative and marketing skills along with superior customer service skills
  • Must be able to work well independently and in a team environment
  • Must be selfmotivated
  • Must have own vehicle

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 1 year rental management experience

  • You enjoy challenges and are goal orientated;
  • You are an excellent problem solver and prefer to be an active part of the solution to any problem;
  • You know the business and have already found a passion for residential property management in your 3 or more years of experience in a similar position, overseeing multiple assets;
  • You are organized and detail orientated. You like working in a fastpaced environment where you can build relationships and provide exceptional customer service; and
  • You have the drive, energy and determination to make things better. You embrace feedback and aren't afraid to have an opinion or make suggestions.

Salary:
From $55,000.00 per year
