LEADERSHIP AND INCLUSION ADVISOR

COLBOURNE INSTITUTE FOR INCLUSIVE LEADERSHIP
The Colbourne Institute for Inclusive Leadership (CIIL) empowers Western Canadian organizations to develop and maintain equitable and inclusive environments. Our focus is on providing support and training to organizations that are driven by research and data.


HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Work with an Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Consultant to develop training curriculum for clients.
  • Design elearning modules for synchronous and asynchronous courses.
  • Meet with prospective clients to understand their EDI and inclusion training needs.
  • Facilitate and deliver training workshops on inclusion and leadership focused areas.
  • Assist with the preparation of communication materials including reports and evaluations.
  • Maintain positive clientcentric relationships with external clients and stakeholders.
  • Keep apprised of news updates, social media narratives, current research, emerging and established promising practices and approaches to inclusion, EDI, human rights, legislative and policy changes, and community and stakeholder initiative to provide the most relevant information and education to inform strategy and action.
  • Support research within the appropriate contexts of institutional needs, theoretical frameworks and relevant topics regarding inclusion and EDI issues.
  • Develop and facilitate action plans and support services for CIIL clients.
  • Support research with data collection activities.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Political Science, History, Gender Studies, Adult Education, or a related field. Related Master's degree preferable.
  • 3+ years in designing curricula.
  • 3+ years of instruction and/or facilitating EDI and leadership training in the public and private sector.
  • Additional professional development in EDI and associated areas.
  • Additional professional development in leadership training.
  • Familiarity with online learning software. Examples include Vyond, Articulate 360 and Moodle.
  • Understanding of instructional design theories, methodologies, and best practices
  • Extensive knowledge of systemic inequities, EDI theory and practice and Human Rights legislation.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

SALARY:
$3, $4,075.58 biweekly ($84,749 - $105,965 annually) Reflective upon what you bring AKA your education and experience. This is a temporary full-time position until June 30, 2024, with immediate access to our great pension and benefit programs.
