SERVERS ready to take on the task of elevating guest experiences

ABOUT THE JOB

Position:
Server

Job Duties:

Provide an outstanding dining experience for our patrons
Must have an extremely professional rapport with clientele, be wellspoken and easy to communicate with
Anticipate guest needs
Work well and closely with all other team members
Accurately record and enter all food and beverage items into POS system
Ensure tables are cleared and reset before a patron is seated
Must develop extensive knowledge of the menu to be able to comment on ingredients, suggest items and explain cooking techniques.
Must develop extensive knowledge of wine and liquor as well as any other beverages and techniques utilized by Alvin's Jazz Club
Address patrons appropriately when discussing their comments and concerns. Effectively communicate with Supervisors if a customer issue arises. Ensure clear and concise communication with the patron to ensure the issue is being resolved.
Follow all company policies and procedures
