Job Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Ensure that all product and services meet quality standards and complete all required paperwork.
  • Work with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintain required paperwork.
  • Take direction from dispatch for efficient job management.
  • Pick up and deliver product to customers, as needed.
  • Provide a high level of customer service when responding to customer/vendor requirements.
  • Understand and follow all HC truck, training and health & safety policies and procedures.
  • Work well in a team environment with other operators, drivers, and operations staff.
  • Understand and follow all HC Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:


  • Strong motor and operational skills for operating large equipment.
  • Basic maintenance experience or skills.
  • Knowledge of and experience driving TerraGator, RoGator, or other Custom Application Equipment.
  • Knowledge of methods, techniques, and procedures involved in maintenance repairs and replacement.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team or independently with little supervision.
  • Effective organizational ability and time management skills.
  • This job requires outdoor work in a combination of environments and weather, with exposure to elements such as noise, dust, odours, fumes, and oils.

Required Qualifications:


  • Must have a valid G driver's license.
  • All other licenses are an asset:
  • Valid AZ or DZ Ontario Driver's License or willingness to obtain.
  • Forklift License or willingness to obtain.
  • Ontario Pesticide Exterminator License _or_ Assistant to Licensed Exterminator, or willingness to obtain.
  • Professional Applicator's License or willingness to obtain.
  • High School Diploma
  • Experience performing general maintenance on various equipment an asset.
This role has the opportunity to progress to Full-Time work in a different capacity outside of the fertilizer season.
