The Opportunity


Reporting to the Sales Enablement Supervisor, the Sales Enablement Specialist is responsible for providing the GD Americas sales teams with reliable and high-quality administrative support.

This role sits within the Inside Sales team and is focused on sales operations, which interacts with the entire sales organization, and is responsible for enhancing the overall operating efficiency and excellence of the sales function.

This position reports to the Sales Enablement Supervisor; however, works closely with the Regional Sales Managers & Strategic Account Managers as well as all members in all areas of the sales team.


In this role you will:


  • Execute the online setups for numerous Canadian and US national retailers, using different online portals/platforms, depending on the retailer, using Salsify.
  • Audit customer websites as needed.
  • Work with Brand Advocate and Marketing to enhance and create A+ content.
  • Assist with customer mapping through PIMS platform.
  • Correct existing copy to enhance and ensure accuracy of online content.
  • Offboard product and communicate with internal and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Develop an understanding of the business ticketing and workflow tool Fresh Service and its supporting process for requests to initiate price updates or changes to existing pricing.
  • Create and maintain databases regarding customers, items, and pricing with the utmost integrity and accuracy.
  • Coordinate with Commercial and Inside Sales team on product information and issues.
  • Assist with EDI implementation/errors.
  • Maintain customer information, including pricing and promos once approved.
  • Assist with presentations and forms for line reviews.
  • Organize samples/coordinate shipments for line reviews and complete product forms.
  • Update contacts in CRM.
  • Complete showroom credit requests, tracking and locator updates.
  • The Hub customer selfserve portal training and updates.
  • Ensure excellent customer service is provided to both internal and external customers.
  • Adhoc report requests as required.
  • Assist with the development and deployment of training for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Own and drive the established operating rhythms and processes and create it if it doesn't exist.
  • Assist with new customer onboarding/program change requests.
  • Purchase order requisitions for commercial related activities.
  • Other duties as required, including special projects.

What You Need:


  • 23 years of experience supporting a sales or marketing team.
  • Highly detail oriented and analytical.
  • Excellent project coordination abilities and organization skills.
  • Commitment to deadlines, accuracy and professionalism.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort in a fast paced, demanding environment.
  • Experience with expanded product content used in Ecommerce, digital content, and catalogs.
  • Experience working in retail customer vendor portals.
