- Project Planning: Develop detailed work plans for Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities, ensuring timely project completion within budget.
- Software Development: Participate in the entire software engineering lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, coding, unit testing, integration, and system testing.
- Application Development: Design and develop scalable software applications and Over-the-Air (OTA) software updates for on-board vehicle devices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with solution designers and software developers to meet performance and reliability standards.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews to maintain high quality and compliance standards.
- Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in software development.
- At least 5 years of experience developing native/desktop applications using C++, preferably in a Linux environment.
- Minimum 3 years of experience developing native UI-based applications using C++ in Qt/QML (Qt 5 or 6).
- Technical Skills:
- Experience with map-based applications, Text-to-Speech (TTS) libraries, OTA software update frameworks
- (e.g., Mender, RAUC), and messaging systems (e.g., MQTT) is an asset.
- Demonstrated experience with Object-Oriented Programming principles, multi-threading, networking, and operating system concepts.
