Equipment Asset Analyst


Reporting To:
Senior Facility Manager


Core Purpose of Job:
Overall day to day operation of the Computerized
Maintenance Management System, including update equipment assets, utilities, budget, invoicing and building automation trending and report.
Take direction from Senior Facility Manager with respect all services, maintenance, and operational requirements as well as

assist and support efficiencies and enhancements with the peers to foster a culture of continuous improvement and customer service excellence within the service delivery team.


Scope of Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Plan, monitor, and report the progress of asset management programs, including the inspection and maintenance programs, and reliability trending;
  • Implement continuous improvement for the asset management program; Collaborate and coordinate with team to ensure the program is on track.
  • Gather, analyse, and document for all asset information. Provide insights towards the health of the equipment based on the asset information
  • Perform cost benefit analysis for reactive and proactive capital replacement program, utilizing age, condition and financial criteria.
  • Prepare proposals and reports for the management within asset management
  • Design, develop, implement and maintenance control system to ensure report availability and accuracy.
  • Develop training materials, reference documents, user manuals, and training sessions for CMMS.
  • Liaises with key stakeholders and clients to validate office vacancies, floor plans and proper occupancy information.
  • Track the utilities data and building automation system.
  • Perform all other related tasks as assigned by Senior Facility Manager and/or other senior management team.

Essential Requirements:


  • 5+ years of work experience in facility maintenance or operations and sound technical knowledge regarding HVAC equipment, Building Automation systems, electrical systems, and fire alarm systems;
  • Completion of Community College in Architectural Technology, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Able to create report, calculation and visuals using CMMS and other software
- minimum 5 years and working knowledge in CMMS, preferably Archibus

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office, AutoCAD.
  • Posses a Province of Ontario driver's license in good standing.
  • Project management experience as module lead and indepth experience developing software and business process testing scripts and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills, with particular emphasis on the ability to explain and document business procedures and processes
  • Knowledge of and demonstrated ability in corporate core competencies including customer service, communication, teamwork, initiative / selfmanagement, accountability, flexibility and adaptability.
